Singapure Metro, MRT

Getting around Singapore is easy with the MRT (Mass Rapid Transit). MRT is a modern system and covers almost all the interesting city areas for tourists.

Singapure’s Subway Lines, MRT

The SMRT has 4 lines:

North-South Line (Red Line or NS): Goes from Marina Bay Station to Jurong east via station Forests.
It has 25 stations and 44 kms long.

East-West Line (Green Line or EW): Goes from station Pasir Ris to Joo Koon. There are 35 stations and 43 kms.

Linea NE (North East Line, Purple): Communicate Punggol with HarboutFront. It has 16 stations and 20 kms.

Circular Line: CC (Circle Line, Yellow): it goes from Dhoby Ghaut Station to Marymount. It has 31 stations and 36 kms.

Schedule

The hours of operation are from 5:30 am to 00:30 pm.
Frequency: 2.5 to 8 minutes depending on the line and time of day.

Fares range from 1 to 3SGD way.
