Lines and stations
Seoul subway network links every district of the city and the surrounding areas.
The Seoul Subway has nineteen lines, which cover Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi province, western
Gangwon province, and northern Chungnam province.
- Line 1 (blue): Goes from Soyosan to Incheon / Sinchang / Gwangmyeong / Seodongtan, comprises 98 stations and is 200.6 km long. It is operated by Korail / Seoul Metro.
- Line 2 (green): Goes from City Hall / Seongsu / Sindorim to City Hall / Sinseol-dong / Kkachisan. It comprises fifty one stations, and is 60.2 km long. It is operated by Seoul Metro.
- Line 3 (orange): Goes from Daehwa to Ogeum and comprises forty three stations, and is 57.4 km long. It is operated by Korail / Seoul Metro.
- Line 4 (light blue): Goes from Dangogae to Oido, comprises fourty eight stations, and is 71.5 km long. It is operated by Korail / Seoul Metro.

- AREX (light blue): Goes from Seoul Station to Incheon International Airport, comprises ten stations, and its 58 km long. It is operated by Korail Airport Railroad.
- Jungang Line (turquoise): Goes from Yongsan to Yongmun, comprises twenty eight stations, and it is 71.2 km long. It is operated by Korail.
- Gyeongui Line (turquoise): Goes from Gongdeok / Seoul Station to Munsan, comprises twenty three stations, and it is 50.8 km long. It is operated by Korail.
- Gyeongchun Line (turquoise): Goes from Sangbong to Chuncheon, comprises nineteen stations, and it is 80.7 km long. It is operated by Korail.
- Bundang Line (yellow): Goes from Wangsimni to Mangpo, comprises thirty two stations, and it is 46.8 km long. It is operated by Korail.

- Incheon Line 1 (pastel blue): Goes from Gyeyang to International Business District, comprises twenty nine stations, and it is 29.4 km long. It is operated by Incheon Transit.
- EverLine (green): Goes from Giheung to Jeondae · Everland, comprises fifteen stations, and it is 18.1 km long. It is operated by Yongin Rapid Transit Corporation.
- U Line (yellow): Goes from Balgok to Tapseok, comprises fifteen stations, and it is 11.1 km long. It is operated by Uijeongbu LRT Corporation.
Fares and Tickets
- Single Ticket for until 10 km: 1,050 WON. 100 WON added for every 5 km.
- Sinbundang Line Single Ticket: 1,750 WON
- EverLine and U Line Single Ticket: 1,300 WON.
- Children’s tickets: half the price.
- Senior citizens and disabled people: free.
- Valid cards: T-money, Upass, and KB Free Pass.
Schedule and frecuency
Seoul trains operates from 5.30 am to 1:00 am from monday to friday. Weekends from 5.30am to 00:00am.
There is a train every 4 – 6 minutes and in rush hours every 2 – 3 minutes.

Connection to the Airports
There are two international airports in Seoul: Gimpo International Airport, mostly for domestic flights, and Incheon International Airport.
You can get to the first one stopping at Gimpo International Airport Station on the Seoul Subway Line 5 and Line 9.
For the latter, the fastest way is by the AREX subway.
